I began my career as an elementary school teacher and ESL instructor, with a focus on designing student-centred curriculum. For the past 10 years as an Instructional Designer, I continue to create engaging and meaningful experiences for learners so they can achieve their learning goals. I am passionate about educational technology, engaging with students, and promoting high impact practices in teaching and learning.

Collaborating with instructors to design courses, following high impact practices for online learning and effective use of technology. Providing workshops for faculty on teaching online, multi-access learning, and course design. Developing help guides for faculty (multi-access.twu.ca). Supervising Associate IDs and managing course development projects. Working with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of courses. Collaborating on innovative projects (e.g. Bookdown courses).
